
The Big Ride for Palestine was initiated in 2015 by activists in Britain, Ireland and beyond who wanted to combine our love of cycling with support for the Palestinian people.Β
Staffordshire NEU’s Women’s Officer, Jo Allen, took part in “The Big Ride” in Birmingham, on the 2nd of August.


A great days ride out with an incredibly diverse group of 200 cyclists setting out from Millennium Point and riding via Coleshill and Meriden to a spectacular lunch stop and welcome in the ruins of Coventry Cathedral.
Then back via Hampton in Arden to a fantastic reception along the Stratford Road and an uplifting event with food, music and speakers in St. Johns Church, Sparkhill.
