On Saturday the 16th of August, Staffordshire NEU took part in the very first Pride event in Burton upon Trent.
Held on the sports fields at Shobnall Leisure Complex, with follow up events in bars in town.
This inaugural event was well supported… including by the Mayor and the local MP (an ex-student of mine).
Burton Pride will be back in 2026, and they are hoping to build on the success of this event.
