Staffordshire NEU’s second local Pride event of 2025 was Stafford Pride, on the 9th of August.
This was the first time Staffordshire NEU had attended Stafford Pride, and Staffordshire NEU were supported by members from other local districts (Wolverhampton and Stoke) and they have my gratitude.
It was a great event with our stall overlooking the river Saw.
From our stall we had an excellent view of the Pride March arriving (hopefully, next year we will have enough volunteers that we can take part in the march!)
Being by one of the entrances meant we got to see a lot of the public and had some amazing interactions.
Around a 100 “Positivity Postcards” were completed by our visitors…
People also took photos using our “selfie frame” (including “yours truly”…)
We also got to see and hear the amazing artists on the main stage…
Overall, a most successful day… and we’ll certainly aim to be back in 2026!!
