NEU Reps Training (Advanced)

Reps Advanced is a three-day course which builds on the skills, knowledge and understanding gained during the Reps Foundation course and/or Being an Effective Rep Part 1 and Part 2.
This course will further develop your confidence and effectiveness and give you opportunity to reflect on the landscape of your own workplace. The course is suitable for NEU reps in all workplaces.
Reps Advanced covers areas such as:
- Gaining enhanced skills in representation
- Building an effective case
- Identifying and responding to a range of different management styles and practices
- Dealing with change in the workplace, including recognition and redundancy
- Consulting meaningfully with members
- Developing leadership skills
The course will run for 3 days, and delegates will be required to attend all sessions to successfully complete the course.
As an NEU workplace rep, you are entitled to paid time off to participate in the course.
