On Friday 25th September, workplace reps from across Staffordshire attending a training day at the Moat House Hotel, in Acton Trussel.
We covered;
- What can we bargain around and how to use information from employers to win change?
- A national Zoom call, with an update on the Save Education campaign.
- An overview of the current KCSIE statuary guidance, with a focus on what this means for educators working with Trans and Non-binary (TNB) students.
- How to challenge misuse of “directed time” and how to obtain a directed time calendar for your workplace.
- A workshop on typical workplace casework scenarios, with practical strategies and where/who to ask for support.
